As if we needed MORE reasons to crush on Brazil, RAH founder Hen Chung was interviewed by Leila Santiago, a Brazilian living in NYC. Santiago is a graduate student in the MFA Products of Design program at the School of Visual Arts. Her thesis? Souvenirs!
“STMT kits are like souvenirs of places you have never been to. There’s a bit of narrative in the letter through which you establish a personal connection with the travelers; you feel some of the materiality of the destination through the office supplies, the texture of the paper and pencils; the culture of the place is shown on the colors and typography of the supplies; and you get to be part of this experience with the membership card. And everything is unified with beautiful and cohesive graphics.”
