You know it – the third time will charm the pants off the hottest body.
France holds a special place in our hearts, so sourcing a third kit from the enchanting nation was a thrill. Coming off last year’s big-bright-blingin’ France Kit, we were psyched to uncover another side of that cool Frenchie spirit through brand new goods!
First discovery at our favorite student bookstore – BIC mechanical pencils. Color-blocked and MADE IN FRANCE (not that we be hatin’ on the Stateside made-in-Mexico version). Pure love! Best of all? These colors are NOT sold in the States. AND the colors match the macarons in the windows of Parisian patisseries. Double sweet!!
Next, the protractors. So French and so clean, understated. Man, we took those gangsta half-moons captive fast as we could.
Finally came the notebooks, from a household name in France, with everyone from the corner store to the student bookstore depot carrying some variety. Peepin’ every version of paper pad from the grand to the petit, we landed on the perfect A5 model. Iconic with the tricked-out Clairefontaine graphic on the front, and SUPER lovin’ that they come in every shade of the rainbow.
And the kicker? The notebooks are Seyes-ruled! Flossin’ those perfect tight lines that give French kids flawless cursive writing from the time they can hold a pencil. No wonder the French do romance as good as they bake bread… when we get love letters in some fly script, traveling far and wide by air, land, and sea to reach us, we fall hard, too. (That’s why we couldn’t resist the Airmail Prioritaire envelopes – to help RAHsters seal the deal!)
