If I could dress a guy, I would march straight to Han. I would outfit him from head to toe in everything from this one shop. I’m not the type of gal that likes to rock a look from one place. Ever visit someone’s house and you feel like you’re at Crate and Barrel? Or Ikea? Um… not hot. But Han, Han makes me wanna break my rules and go for broke in their shop.
Two friends got together and started small. Their first product line was eyewear and four years later, they’ve added a friend to help run the shop and now offer a full range of menswear, from stylie jackets guaranteed to become your signature piece, to dope jeans made out of Japanese denim. Shirts with graphics so cool – definitely not the hipster type of graphic shirt. Know what I’m sayin’? And their eyewear line? HOT.
When there are so many talented designers in the world pushin’ out amazing pieces, it’s hard to create ones that stand out. Sometimes all the stuff I see just kinda blends together, makin’ it hard for me to figure out who made what. Not Han – they nail it. Their vibe is distinctly Danish – clean lines mixed with the Japanese love of pure materials with a shot of American outdoor ruggedness that reminds me of the PNW. All the flavors mixed together work. Their collection – balanced. And now if they would only release a woman’s line…
