Morocco – Snaps from the Low Down Adventure
5 years of non-stop grindin’, the mad crazy hustle of ploppin’ in a different country every month to hunt down goods. Negotiating with vendors without speaking the native language, deciphering the local public transportation system, finding hidden spots that sell vintage office supplies… it’s become too familiar. I forget that every month involves a lot of risk.
It never crossed my mind that the risk is something bigger than not finding inventory for our STMT Kits, being able to find locally manufactured office supplies that fit the RAH vibe. It never occurred to me that Mother Nature could wreak havoc and mess up our game.
Less than 3 hours into our adventure, we realized our fantasy of riding camels off into a glorious sunset, surrounded by ginourmous sand dunes was not gonna happen. Mother Nature was guaranteeing no selfie on a camel or snapping one of those f’in ridiculously gorgeous photos that everyone and their momma posts.
Everything about the Morocco sourcing trip was big – my 50th country and a continent new to the RAH World Tour. And thanks to Mother Nature, a 36-hour adventure turned BIG that forever changed our game.
