El Ancla Cevicheria, Cholula, Mexico – Spot Check

Ok. Full disclosure – I didn’t actually eat anything at El Ancla. Just enjoyed a glass of their fresh agua de tuna. I wish so badly that I had tasted everything on their menu. What stopped me? Jeans so tight, jeans about to bust at the seams from stuffin’ my face at Antojitos Mexicanos Manuelta in the Cholula market, Cosme del Razo.

But how could the food not be legit? I smelled an amazing aroma coming out of the kitchen, I watched Aldo and Alberto hand peel shrimp, I saw the love they poured into their restaurant… all the sure signs of a damn tasty spot. And… how cute are they?! I’m going back to Cholula just so I can hang with them and grub on their food.
