And no frontin’, it took a hell of a lot of effort, but we scored. Two polka dot notebooks, one Bic pen found only in South America, and a phat stack of thickass, silky-smooth graph sheets – it’s STMT X PARAGUAY.
More than any other sourcing trip, we found ourselves hangin’ with people we met. One night we hung out with Jared Carroll, former director of the Reinaldo Macchi High School, in Tobati. Over dinner we showed him photos of the goods we scored, and his reaction? “You got to be kidding me. That’s what my students use. Saw that stuff everyday for 2 years.” Scorin’ stylie daily-diet goods? YES!
